BISMARCK, N.D. - A North Dakota filmmaker's newest project debuted Wednesday in Bismarck.
Daniel Bielinski is the writer and producer of the "The Badlands Girl," a short film shot in western North Dakota. It uses props, costumes and actors from the state. Bielinski started writing the movie in 2016, and it was shot last fall.
"I think the number of North Dakotans who were involved in the production both on the screen and off the screen makes it really uniquely a North Dakota piece and embraces that identity really strongly,” Bielinski said.
You can see "The Badlands Girl" at the Grand Theatre Wednesday and Thursday at 6:30 p.m and 8:30 p.m.
