Terrorizing, hit-and-run arrest in Minot

MINOT, N.D. – Minot Police arrested a 26-year-old man early Saturday morning for brandishing a handgun outside of a bar and hitting other cars as he fled the scene.

Police say they responded to the parking lot of Sports on Tap shortly after 1 a.m. for a report of a hit-and-run and a man showing a gun before leaving the area.

Police located the Justin De Leon’s car in a downtown Minot parking lot and found De Leon in a nearby club.

De Leon is making his initial court appearance Monday afternoon on charges of terrorizing and duty upon striking an unattended vehicle.
