Suspect charged in separate shooting cases

BISMARCK, N.D. - A Bismarck man was charged in connection with two separate shooting cases within the city.

Police say 28-year-old Joseph Wantuck III is responsible for shots fired on Aug. 31 at the 1800 block of East Rosser Avenue, and for shots in the area of the 500 block of East Avenue E on Sept. 24.

Police recovered the gun for both shootings.

Wantuck was arrested for the incident in September and is being held at the Burleigh Detention Center on a $500,000 cash bond.

He's charged with five counts of reckless endangerment, felon in possession of a fire arm and criminal mischief.
