MINOT, N.D.- Gov. Doug Burgum, R- N.D., toured the Minot State campus and met with students after his address.
We spoke with student body president Aaron Richard on his reaction to the state of the state.
“He spoke a lot about use of technology and streamlining some of the services the government offers. Implementing technology in higher ed. is a huge issue right now, so it’s going to be very interesting, looking forward, what that task force is able to accomplish to help our students with more technology and give them more opportunities in the future,” said Richard.
Richard toured the campus with the governor after the speech, and says he intended to speak with the governor about getting young people involved in the workforce, another key part of the governor's speech.
