Stephan Podrygula to fill open spot on Minot City Council

MINOT, N.D. – Stephan Podrygula has been selected to fill a spot on the Minot City Council left open by Shaun Sipma, after voters elected Sipma as mayor of Minot last month.

Podrygula had served as an alderman up until the last election, where he was narrowly beat out for the final open spot on the council by political newcomer Paul Pitner.

Podrygula beat out David Shomento, Mitchell Kraft, and Zoda Morgan, Jr., for the final spot.

He would serve the remainder of Sipma’s term through 2020.
