Starving Rooster Bismarck hosts soft opening

BISMARCK, ND - The Starving Rooster clucked 100 miles from the original store in Minot to a new location in Bismarck.

Starving Rooster's Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Mahany says the crew is ready to showcase its flavors to Bismarck residents.

"Oh, we are super excited. Our management staff has been working extremely hard over the last month, we've been doing training all of this week. We're really just ready to open the doors to the public and show everybody what's the Starving Rooster is all about," says Jeremy Mahany, COO of Starving Rooster.

The restaurant offers 29 beers on tap including their in house white and red wine.

They also partnered up with Mighty Missouri Coffee Company to make five flavors of iced coffee on nitro.

"We are one of the only places in North Dakota to do that, and it's great to team up with another local business," says Mahany.

Starving Rooster also offers food, taking pride in making all the ingredients in house, producing fresh food like the brick oven pizza.
People walking by Main take a peek inside and are excited to try out the new bar.

"We just walked by and it looks like a really cool fun environment, so we are definitely going to stop by later today," says Morgan Aasand, Minnesota resident.

Starving Rooster is open during the week at 11 am and the weekend at 9 am.

Mahany says there isn't a closing time yet because they want to feel out Bismarck's downtown atmosphere.
