MINOT, N.D. - Employees at the International Peace Garden are preparing for the summer season.

About 20 staff members are growing different varieties of flowers in greenhouses and working to make the garden blossom.

The garden will boast about 100,000 flowers in different designs and landscapes, something staff say they hope visitors will enjoy.

”For us you know it's just a big push to get it ready until May and June and then it's maintain. Right now we are in a bit of a frenzy just to get that final push done but then it feels really great just to watch people come and enjoy everything and have a good time,” said Johannes Olwage, Horticulturist.

The peace garden is open from sunrise to sunset and for more information about the international peace garden, you can visit their website.
