BISMARCK, N.D. - The 67th annual St. Mary's Carnival begins Friday night. The event raises funds for education.
Volunteers spent around two hours setting up for the carnival, which will include a number of games, auctions and also a raffle.
Jan Carter, the chair person for the carnival, says the volunteers are the ones that make the carnival what it is.
"We have volunteers that have done this for years and they've got this down to a science", said Carter.
The carnival starts Friday at 5:30 p.m. until 9:30 p.m. at St. Mary's High School and will run through Sunday. Entry is free, but the games will cost money. For a full list of times for events, meals, raffle and prizes please visit the link on the right side of this page.
