Sprayer, pickup truck collide on southwest edge of Minot

MINOT, N.D. - A sprayer and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of 37th Avenue and 30th Street SW Monday evening, and the sprayer ended up on top of the pickup's cab.

Central dispatch received word of the accident shortly before 8 p.m.

Minot rural, Ward County Deputies and Minot Police responded, along with a 'heavy rescue' vehicle.

Sheriff's deputies and Minot Police blocked off the intersection and redirected traffic.

No word on the condition of either driver at this time, though at least one person was taken to Trinity Hospital.

The sprayer was carrying liquid, and early reports indicate no leaks. The pickup truck appeared to have been heading eastbound, and the sprayer westbound, at the time of the collision.

Drivers should avoid the intersection because it is currently blocked off.
