MINOT, N.D. - The MSU Summer Theatre is up and running and the cast and crew came together Tuesday night for opening night.
Sister Act is the first show taking the stage. It's a feel-good musical comedy smash based on the hit 1992 film.
Six performances are being held from June 12-18. All performances begin each night at 8:30 p.m.
"The music is both great but also funny, which is a nice combination. There are also some really great moments of heart all the way through where some things happen and it seemed like a really great way to start off the season and bring people in" said Chad Gifford, production director.
Be on the look out this Friday for an exclusive inside look as our reporter Molly Hurley follows the cast before hitting the stage.
