MINOT, N.D. - Sevens Bar and Restaurant, a staple on Minot’s north hill for the past 14 years, will close Saturday night.
A spokesperson for the restaurant cited a recent drop-off in business for the decision.
The restaurant employed roughly 25 people, including cooks, servers, and banquet organizers.
In February, The Vegas Motel, which shares a building with Sevens, along with the Guest Lodge, closed due to similar economic reasons, though at time, Sevens planned on staying open.
Scheduled parties over the weekend will go on as planned.
They say ownership is leaving open the possibility of re-opening the restaurant in the future if the economy improves, but for now it will remain closed.
