Search warrant executed for drug trafficking at local businesses in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - The Bismarck Police Department evacuated the District Building early Friday morning and executed a search warrant for drugs.

The District contains Lucky Ducks, J60, The Vault, Avery’s Eatery and The Pond.

Detective Mike Bolme with the Bismarck Police Department says they went into the building at 1 a.m. and evacuated all the patrons and held employees.

Bolme says the warrant was for controlled substances, drug paraphernalia and drug trafficking.

BPD says they couldn’t confirm if they found anything because their investigation is active.

Police say the search lasted a few hours.

The manager of Lucky Ducks declined to comment.

KFYR-TV has also reached out to The District owner Russell Kadlec via phone and social media and have received no response.
