Search for Olivia Lone Bear expands

NEW TOWN The family of Olivia Lone Bear has announced that they will begin canvassing several North Dakota cities outside of the Fort Berthold Reservation, in hopes of tracking down the bluish-green Chevrolet truck she was last seen in.

The family announced Saturday they would be searching Stanley, Parshall, Minot, Bismarck, Williston, Watford City, and Dickinson, but would also head east and search Fargo and Grand Forks.

Organizers say that search crews will be checking streets, wrecking yards, and parking lots, in the hopes of locating the truck.

Crew members will wear red ribbons to identify themselves with the search.

The 32-year-old Lone Bear disappeared from the Fort Berthold Reservation on Oct. 24. She was last seen leaving the Sportsman’s Bar in New Town in a bluish-green 2011 Chevy Silverado with a box in the back and a North Dakota plate: 839-BRC.
