Richie Wilder's wife arrested for conspiracy

MINOT, N.D. - The wife of a convicted murderer has been arrested.

Twenty-six-year-old Cynthia Wilder, wife of Richie Wilder, Jr., is charged with conspiracy to commit murder and being an accomplice to his attempted escape from jail.

Richie was convicted in December of killing his ex-wife Angila in November of 2015, and he's accused of trying to escape from the Ward County jail last August.

Court records indicate that Cynthia admitted to a confidential informant to helping Richie plan the murder by watching Angila's home to know when Angila's boyfriend left for work. She also admitted to helping Richie get rid of the evidence after the murder.

She also told the CI that she had set up a getaway car for Richie if he had succeeded in escaping from jail.
Cynthia is being held without bond.

Richie is currently serving a life sentence without the chance of parole.
