Quilters cover Minot for the 24th Prairie Quilt Festival

Minot, ND - The 24th Minot Prairie Quilt Festival wrapped up it's second day Saturday.

The festival brings in a wide number of quilters from across the state.

There are more than 200 quilts present at this year's event.

The festival brings in instructors and local vendors for the participants.

Quilters have the opportunity to learn new skills with the instructors, and pick up any supplies they may need.

"We're told we have the best in the state, so we're pretty proud of that. We're a friendly group here and we just have a really good time, but yeah, we'll spend hours on this. We have committee members that are so out standing at their job that it just makes it easier. We get lots of volunteers here and we couldn't do it without them," says Jennifer Feller, Chair of Minot Prairie Quilt Festival.

The festival concludes tomorrow at 3 pm.
