MINOT N.D. - If your current residence is being acquired for the Minot flood protection projects you might be eligible for the Minot Resilient Homebuyer Program.

Qualified buyers may be eligible for up to $60,000 to help them purchase a home through the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency.

It's open to eligible low and moderate income homebuyers for the purchase of an existing resale home or a newly constructed home in what the City of Minot has called "resilient neighborhoods."

"Town and Country really wants to step up and kind of be the fore front of this program. The Minot Resiliency program that they are doing with North Dakota Housing. So it's for low to moderate income, people who are impacted by the flood and they can get up," said said Lisa Thuner, Town and Country executive mortgage officer.
