Preakness winner visits Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - Who knows more about this weekend's Preakness than a jockey who actually won the race?

Jose Santos arrived in Bismarck today. Santos, a hall of fame jockey, raced for more than thirty years and won all three Triple Crown races in his career, including the 2003 Preakness with Funny Cide. Santos is confident that Always Dreaming will keep his Triple Crown hopes alive.

“I think it's going to be an easy race for him because it's a short distance. He has beautiful speed to be in a good position of the race,” said Santos.

Always Dreaming is currently the favorite to win the race.
