Police arrest more than 5 illegal immigrants in Bismarck

BISMARCK, N.D. - A traffic stop in Bismarck on Friday led to the arrest of five illegal immigrants.

Bismarck Police say there were eight people in the car when it was pulled over and asked the passenger’s for identification.

Officers say they then contacted border patrol, and determined five of the passengers were in the country illegally.

Police say the illegal immigrants were 27-year-old Alfian Lo from Indonesia, 43-year-old Refugio Batista from Mexico, 21-year-old Narciso Gonzalez from Guatemala, 23-year-old Bin Bin He from China and 23-year-old Xin Mei Chuang from China.

In a separate incident, police say they arrested two people from Guatemala Saturday for being in the country illegally.
