TIBER RESERVOIR, MT - Thursday, Montana Governor Steve Bullock declared a natural resources emergency after invasive mussels were found in Montana waterways.

Friday, officials decided to close the Tiber and Canyon Ferry Reservoirs to boating.

A team made up of three state agencies says the restrictions are necessary to prevent the mussels from spreading.

The team is also considering drawing down the reservoirs to help stop the mussels.
