Nintendo is re-releasing The Super Nintendo Entertainment System, or SNES. It hits shelves today, and fans of the system are flocking to stores to pick up consoles before they're gone.

The new console is smaller than the original version. It comes preloaded with 21 original games.

"I got my first system back in about 1995, I would assume. It was Christmas, I was a little boy. It was exciting when I got it, my mom took pictures. I had a Super Mario shirt on. I freaked out, it was exciting, I feel a little bit like that right now," said Luther Taken Alive, a Nintendo fan from Mobridge, S.D.

The new version also have HDMI ports so they can connect to modern TVs.
