New details in search for Olivia Lone Bear

NEW TOWN, N.D. – Authorities have updated the date and location they believe Olivia Lone Bear, a missing woman from the Fort Berthold Reservation, was last seen in New Town.

The Bureau of Indian Affairs now says the 32-year-old Lone Bear was last seen in downtown New Town on Oct. 25, 2017, in the metallic gray 2011 Chevy Silverado that has also disappeared.

Investigators had previously said she was last seen leaving the Sportsman’s Bar in New Town on Oct. 24.

Lone Bear’s family and supporters will begin organizing search camps on the reservation next week, at the advisement of the BIA.

An updated flyer with information is attached to this story.
