MINOT, N.D. - Minot now has one of only two Caboose Escape Rooms in the Midwest.
The creator came up with the idea after visiting an escape room in Fargo and thought it was the perfect way to raise money for the Railroad Museum of Minot.
Teams of two to six have 40 minutes to use the clues in the caboose to set the brake and escape.
The creator says the escape room is just one more fun thing to do in the Magic City.
"I hear all the time there's nothing to do in Minot. I just came up with something to do, and it's probably something you've never done before. I highly suggest you come out and try this because I think you might not make it," says Tim Gebhert, Minot Runaway Caboose Escape Room Co-Creator.
The Escape Room is near the Railroad Museum of Minot and is open Friday 5-9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Children 12 and under are free, 12 and up are $15 each. You can call 701-240-8345 to make a reservation.
