NFL Commissioner Goodell to retire in 2024

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell says he's retiring in 2024.

That's when his contract extension ends.

Goodell is being paid about $40 million a year for that extension. About 90 percent of that is tied to incentives.

When the contract extension ends, Goodell will be 65-years-old
and will have served as the commissioner for the National Football League for 18 years.

Goodell will work with team owners to find a replacement.
