MINOT, N.D. - A judge has ordered an 18-year-old Minot woman to serve 120 days in jail after she admitted to assaulting a girl in north Minot in March and breaking her nose.

Caitlyn Zietz pleaded guilty Friday to aggravated assault.

Investigators say that Zietz and the victim arranged a meeting at the North Hill Sports Complex on March 29 to settle a dispute.

Court records indicate that Zietz began punching the victim, who was unable to defend herself.

The victim also briefly lost consciousness in the wake of the fight.

Zietz will receive credit for 51 days already served.

The judge also ordered her to serve three years of supervised probation, to have not contact with the victim, and to enroll in an anger management course.

The charge will be lowered to a misdemeanor after she completes her sentence.

Restitution is pending.
