Voters in Minot are deciding the future makeup of the City Council Tuesday.

Minot City Measure 1 has been the widely talked measure in town that, if passed, would change the structure of the city council from 14 to only 6 members, who would be elected at large, along with a voting mayor.

The other races on today's ballot are for city council members, park board and school board members.

There are four polling sites in Minot: voters in South-West Minot can go to the Maysa, Christ Lutheran Church is for voters in northwest Minot, the Cornerstone Presbyterian for northeast and The First Assembly of God Church for southeast.

Polls are open until 7 p.m. You just need to bring a valid ID with you in order to vote.

We will be covering the results this evening as the numbers come in.
