Some Minot residents are crying foul after they say a developer built nearly 90 unsafe homes.
Minot residents Jon Newman and his neighbor Phillip Newman brought the issue before the Minot City Council tonight.
Residents in their subdivision say they've noticed bowing in their basement wall, house plans that called for a concrete foundation were actually wood and major framing errors that are compromising the structural integrity.
They say the developer who built their subdivision cut corners, and now they can't get a hold of him.
Resident Phillip Newman says "the building codes that should be for a living structure, weren't adhered to at all. Because your inspectors didn't take care of that at the time."
In total, the residents say 89 homes in the development are experiencing these structural issues.
