Minot airman arrested following child pornography investigation

MINOT, N.D. – A Minot man is accused of possessing child pornography following an Internet Crimes Against Children operation.

Court records indicate that investigators received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about a pornographic image of boys aged 10 to 14 uploaded to Skype.

Investigators traced the account to 25-year-old Nicholas Wilson and searched his northwest Minot apartment, seizing other electronics which revealed dozens of photos and videos of child pornography.

Prosecutors say that Wilson admitted to investigators to viewing child pornography.

Investigators confirmed that Wilson is an active member of the U.S. Air Force.

Wilson faces 10 counts of possession of certain materials prohibited.

He is out on bond and will be back in court June 29.
