Minot State to offer students free 'meningococcal B' vaccination

MINOT, N.D. - Minot State University is partnering with state health officials to prevent the spread of meningococcal disease.

Next Tuesday, MSU students ages 18 to 23 can receive a free vaccination for 'meningococcal B.'

This is different from the standard meningococcal vaccine that's required to enroll at MSU.

The 'B' strain of the disease is rare but serious, and has impacted other college campus in the past decade.

The clinic will take place from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the third floor of the student center.

Students will need to present their student ID.
