Minot State Showcases Bubble at Open house

MINOT, N.D. - Minot State Athletics hosted an open house at Herb Parker Stadium Wednesday to show the community its new off-season bubble dome. The department was excited to see this final step in the process of opening the Magic City's newest athletic facility.

"We never thought it would be up during the week time frame where it was constant work from 8 a.m. until about 10 o'clock at night," said Associate Athletic Director Wendy McManus. "With our student-athletes involved, our coaches, and even community members coming to help put the pieces together to be able to inflate the facility it's a little bit surreal to actually have it here and open and ready for use."

You can call the MSU Athletics Office at 701-858-3041 for more information about reserving time slots to use the bubble. It's expected to be up into late April, with a softball tournament kicking off its event schedule on Feb. 10.
