Minot, N.D. (KFYR-TV) - The Minot Public School Board has agreed to accept recommendations from a fact-finding commission to resolve an ongoing impasse with Minot teachers over a contract dispute, according to MPS Business Manager Scott Moum.

The board met Wednesday morning and went into an executive session to discuss the recommendations brought forth Tuesday.

The recommendations include a $100 increase in base pay, updates to the grievance process, a ‘catastrophic leave time bank’, and the creation of a health and safety committee.

The board will meet with educators Wednesday afternoon to discuss the matter.
