Minot Police Department responding to calls over 'Pokemon Go' App

The Minot Police Department says they’ve responded to several calls of suspicious people in area parks or suspected burglaries, in the wake of the popularity of the ‘Pokemon Go’ Smartphone App game.

They say they have removed large numbers of people from Minot city parks playing the game during the night.

The police want to remind residents that the parks are closed between 11 p.m. and 5 a.m. and violators could be forced to pay a $150 fine.

The public should also remember not to trespass on private property.
