MINOT, N.D. - The owners behind a barbecue business in the Magic City have reached one of their goals of opening a brick-and-mortar restaurant.
Bone's BBQ just opened Monday behind Classic Rock Coffee on 2nd Avenue SW.
Ownership says they've been serving up barbecue to Minot as a catering affair for roughly four years.. but wanted to open a full-fledged restaurant.
They smoke the meat in a special rotating smoker over a wood fire.
You can dine in, and also carry out if you want to enjoy your barbecue at home.
“Customers can come in, and they can get a rack of ribs, or some baked beans, or some of our signature sausage, and they can take it home and heat and serve it. So it's fully-cooked, all they have to do is heat and serve it,” said Jonah Lundeen, with Bone’s.
Bone's BBQ also has a bar area.
Bone’s is open 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 11 to 9 Friday and Saturday.
