MINOT, N.D. - The City of Minot will hold its annual Household Hazardous Waste Collection Program on May 5-6 at the Public Works building.
Between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. both days, Minot residents can bring all their household hazardous waste to the Public Works building free of charge.
Some of household hazardous waste items include paint, stains, varnishes, solvents, oil, pesticides, herbicides, car care products, fire extinguishers, propane bottles, light bulbs, and household cleaning products.
E-waste, like televisions and computers, will also be accepted free of charge during the two-day collection
The City says it collected about 14,000 pounds of e-waste at last year's event, along with about 9,000 pounds of other items.
The Public Works Building is located at 1025 31st St. SE.
