Minot Area Homeless Coalition Have a Heart Food Drive

MINOT, N.D. - The Minot Area Homeless Coalition's 14th Annual Have a Heart Food Drive kicks off Wednesday.

MAHC needs your help to replenish four food pantries in Minot and two in Bottineau.

They're collecting non-perishable items such as canned goods and pasta, as well as household items.

They say with homelessness on the rise in the area, the need is greater now than during past food drives.

"This is a chance for us to help our fellow constituents, our fellow neighbors. If you could only buy two cans of soup and donate, that is fine, we need those two cans of soup," says Louis McLeod, MAHC Executive Director.

Drop off locations include Gate City Bank, First Lutheran Church and KMOT.
