Medieval Rush Hits North Dakota

From Batman and Wonder Woman to Superman and some Regular Joes, all sorts of people in all sorts of costumes were challenging the Medieval Rush.
Around a thousand runners tested their mettle on the five kilometer course, and superman wasn't the only one leaping over walls and crashing through the mud. The course this year included running under Salem Sue, The 38 foot cow that overlooks the town of New Salem.
"As the years go on here this is going to end up being a really big event, and there's going to be more and more people that become aware of it, more and more people are going to talk about it, and it's going to end up being a really cool and fun event that people are going to look forward to every year and that's what we're trying to build here," said Michael Schwieters, a Volunteer at the event.
Medieval Rush claims to be the largest and longest running mud run in North Dakota.
