Marketplace Foods donates to Trinity's cancer program

MINOT N.D - Marketplace Foods is doing its part to support cancer research.

Today, they donated $13,935 from the Power of Pink cake auction last month to Trinity's Cancer Exercise Rehab Program. Staff members say 42 businesses participated in the cake auction, showing just how supportive our community is.

“That's one thing about Minot, when you're part of the community when people come together, they can really get together and push something, as evidence by this event. We provide the space and we do a 5 percent of the sales for that day, but it's really the businesses in town and everyone being a part of the community that really helps,” said Zac Miller, senior store director at West Region.

Miller says they plan on having the event next year.
