MINOT, N.D. – A Manvel, N.D., native has pleaded not guilty to a string of burglaries and forgeries in the Minot area last fall.
Prosecutors have filed 17 felony counts in three separate case files against 29-year-old Ryan Guttormson.
They have accused Guttormson of partaking in several burglaries with others between October and December of 2016.
Prosecutors say Guttormson stole a woman’s checkbook and used her personal information to open up several credit accounts.
They also say he stole checks from his parents and made purchases with them totaling more than $2,300.
They also accuse him of setting up an AT&T account with one parent’s information and accrued nearly $1,400 in charges.
Guttormson will appear again in court June 28.
Others face charges in the string of burglaries as well.
