Mandan Police arrest 17-year-old in connection to stabbing

MANDAN, N.D. - Mandan Police say they arrested a 17-year-old Bismarck man in connection to last week's stabbing.

Authorities say they arrested the man July 24 for aggravated assault.

He was taken to the Youth Correction Center.

ORIGINAL STORY: 2:49 p.m., Jul 21, 2016 Mandan Police say a man was stabbed early July 21 on the 400 block of 15th Street northeast.

Officers arrived on scene to find the 19-year-old with a stab wound to his abdomen and a cut on his right arm. He was treated and released at Sanford hospital.

Police are asking for the public’s help with the investigation. Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call Mandan Police at 667-3250.
