MANDAN, N.D. - There's a new target audience at Mandan High School. They'll be the fourth school in the area to join the North Dakota State High School Clay Target League.

Mandan joins Bismarck, Century and Legacy high schools, who all have teams. Registration for the team is first-come, first-serve for grades 6-12. Nick Simonson, who is a volunteer coach, says shooting sports are open for any person interested.

“Everyone can do it. From new shooters to old shooters, boy or girls. Ethnic, socioeconomic background doesn't matter. Any kids who is interested in getting involved in shooting sports can participate in this activity,” said Simonson.

Sign up and informational meetings will be held in the Mandan High School Cafeteria on Tue. Jan. 30 and at the Advanced Business Methods Office on Tue. Feb. 6.
