Mandan Chiefs first game tonight

Legion ball began on Wednesday with the Dickinson Roughriders in Williston. Today it’s Mandan’s turn. The Chiefs are at home this evening to host Fargo Post 2.

It’s a new season, with a new Head Coach. After Ryne Jungling resigned last fall, former Mandan A’s coach, Jake Kincaid, took over. "I'm excited for the challenge. You know the Chiefs program is, a lot of tradition in it, and I'm excited to carry that on."

Tonight the Chiefs take on Fargo Post 2, and these guys are excited to hit the field. Chiefs Outfielder Richard Zander says, "Fargo is a really good team, and it's always exciting to start your year off, and we're looking to come out with two wins tonight." Alex Horner, Chiefs Infielder adds, "It's really exciting. Home opener, we want to get on the right path with two wins, hopefully. And doing teamwork."

The Chiefs take on Fargo Post 2 tonight for a double header.
