WILLISTON, N.D. - A man broke into a Williston bank last week, but it doesn't appear that he intended to steal anything.

The Williston Police Department says early in the morning of Nov. 29, they received a call of a man in the lobby of the First National Bank and Trust.

Officers found 29-year-old David Korte asleep on a bench in the lobby. Surveillance footage shows Korte breaking into the main lobby.

Police say he caused about $2,000 worth of damage.

He was charged with two felonies and one misdemeanor for criminal mischief and criminal trespass.
