Man attempts to light cigarette with nozzle at gas pump, arrested

BISMARCK, N.D. - A cannonball man was arrested this morning after he tried to light his cigarette with a gas pump nozzle. Police say 29-year-old Skyler Whitebull was confronted by Bismarck police who witnessed the incident.

Police say they requested him to put the nozzle back and he refused and took a fight stance.

Officers forced him to the ground and asked him to put his hands behind his back, he resisted.

Suspect kept rolling on his stomach and when police finally got the handcuffs on him, he began kicking.

When officers searched his purse, Bismarck police says they found several bags containing white crystalline residue, believed to be methamphetamine.

He was arrested and faces charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and possession of drug paraphernalia, meth.
