Man arrested for reckless endangerment after firing handgun in Dickinson residence

A Dickinson man was arrested Thursday night after police received reports of shots fired on the 500 Block of 3rd Ave SE.

Dickinson police responded to the residence and determined that 36-year-old Jamey Bleth had fired a single round from a handgun during a domestic dispute.

Bleth's family members fled the residence and called 911.

South West Tactical Team was activated and engaged in negotiations with Bleth for a few hours. Finally, he surrendered and was taken into custody at about 11:30 p.m.
