MINOT, N.D. – The Magic City Discovery Center, Minot’s children’s museum, will kick off its winter season this Sat., Nov. 4 at the Dakota Territory Air Museum.
The fourth year of operation for the museum will include new attractions, including the opportunity to sit in a real Cub airplane and ‘fly’ in a hot air balloon.
Admission is $4 per person, with a maximum of $15 for a family. Children under a year old get in for free.
The center is open Wed.-Fri. from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.
In the meantime, organizers behind the center are raising money to develop a permanent location on North Hill.
During the 2018 budgeting process, Minot city leaders approved allocating $1 million from the Community Development Committee to the project.
