Local commissioner talks at Nobel Peace Forum

Morton County Commission Chairman Cody Schulz attended the Nobel Peace Forum in Norway to talk about Morton County's experience with the Dakota Access Pipeline protests during Norway's Copper Mine Controversy.

Schulz says during the two-day forum he was able to address the good and bad things the county did to communicate and operate during DAPL.

“We have the responsibility to share some of the lessons and things that we learned with the folks that are going through this right now," said Schulz.

He says the most valuable takeaway is the importance in communication at all times during instances like this.
