MINOT, N.D.- The KMOT Ag Expo isn't just for grown-ups. Kids are learning all about farming as well!
Students from schools all over Western North Dakota are visiting the Living Ag classroom under the Iverson grandstand at the State Fair Center.
They're learning all about agriculture, from different kinds of crops, to how to ranch cattle, to the difference between popcorn and the kind you eat on the cob.
The instructors say they remember having fun at the expo when they were younger.
“I've come to the Ag Expo quite a bit because I liked looking at all the equipment when I was little. So I really enjoyed coming here,” said Jackson Lindbo, volunteer educator.
Lindbo and his group were part of South Prairie High School's FFA chapter and came in during their school day to help educate these young kids.
