MINOT, N.D. - Women United announced that it has awarded six new grants to support programs that benefit families in Minot and the surrounding area.

In February, Women United members and friends participated in the third annual Little Black Dress Campaign and raised $13,500.

That money will support organizations whose 2017 fundraising revenue fell short of projected needs.

The grant recipients for fiscal year 2018 include the Children's Museum of Minot, the YWCA, The Sober Living Home for Women and the Souris Valley United Way Community Shower.

Grants will also go to Women United Program Initiatives and the Women United Scholarship Fund.
