For the second year in a row, the parent company that owns the major shopping malls in Bismarck and Minot will close shop for Thanksgiving Day so employees and customers can spend the day with their families.
The chairman of CBL Properties, which manages the Kirkwood and Dakota Square Malls, announced the malls would close Thurs., Nov. 23.
Both malls will reopen at 6 a.m. on Black Friday. Major stores with exterior entrances will have the choice of whether to remain open.
The AMC movie theater inside the Dakota Square Mall will be open on Thanksgiving, and moviegoers should use the Scheels mall entrance.
