Guilty plea for fake name in child neglect complaint

MINOT, N.D. – A judge ordered a Minot woman to time already served after she admitted to providing a fake name to social services for a child neglect complaint.

Twenty-eight-year-old Katelin Spotted Horse pleaded guilty this week to an A-misdemeanor charge of making a false statement.

Investigators say she used the fake moniker to file the complaint against two other adults this September.

She'll also have to pay a fine.
