BISMARCK, N.D. - Gov. Doug Burgum has been in office for a little over a year, and it looks like his popularity is "sagging" according to a recent poll by market research company Morning Consult.

The research company conducts polls on all state governors in each quarter of the year. In the first quarter of 2017 Burgum had an approval rating of 69 percent, making him the third most popular governor in the country. Since the first quarter, his numbers have dropped all the way to 57 percent, making him the 13th most popular governor.

New Jersey governor Chris Christie had the lowest approval rating throughout 2017.
